Cho Oyu (8,201m), known as "Tibetan God Turquoise" is the sixth-highest mountain in the world. It lies in Everest Region in Nepal. The best choice is to summit via Tibet. Herbert Tichy, Joseph Jochler, and Pasang Dawa Sherpa summited this mountain from the Austrian expedition team for the first time. The Expedition of this mountain offers climbers spectacular views of Mt.Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu and mountain views of the Khumbu region and Tibetan Plateau.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu, pick up at the airport and transfer to hotel

Day 02 : Official procedure for the expedition

Day 03 : Preparation for Expedition and Briefing in Ministry of Tourism

Day 04 : Drive Kathmandu to Kodari and transfer Zhangmu, Tibet(2,300m)

Day 05 : Driv Zhangmu to Nylam(2,750m)

Day 06 : Rest and Acclimatization at Nylam

Day 07 : Drive Nylam to Tingri(4,340m)

Day 08 : Acclimatization day at Tingri

Day 09 :Drive Tingri to Chinese Base Camp(4,700m)

Day 10 : Chinese Base Camp

Day 11 : Prepared load to Yak for Base Camp

Day 12 : Trek Base Camp to Middle camp with Yaks

Day 13 : Trek Middle Camp to Cho Oyu Advance Base Camp

Day 14-38 : Climbing Period for Cho Oyu (8,201m)

Day 39 : Trek Advance Base camp to Chinese Base camp

Day 40 : Trek Base Camp and Drive to Tingri

Day 41 : Drive Tingri to Zhangmu

Day 42 : Drive Zhangmu to Kathmandu

Day 43 : Kathmandu

Day 44 : Kathmandu

Day 45 : Fly back to home
