Tharpu Chuli is additionally referred to as Tent Peak due to its shape. The Chuli lies near Annapurna Base Camp at an altitude of 5663m. The bottom of this peak may be a short rehearsal of the stunningly beautiful Annapurna Sanctuary. It is a part of the ridge that extends south from Glacier Dome and includes another attractive and better 6,501m Singu Chuli or Fluted Peak peak directly above it. The traditional route to the summit is comparatively easy, but there is another challenging climb for those eager to test their skills. Although this peak isn't as high as other trekking peaks, the summit offers a superb view of Annapurna I, Annapurna south, Annapurna III, Annapurna V, Machhapuchhare (Fishtail), Hiunchuli, Singu Chuli, and Gangapurna.
This trek is a superb start to the climbing career of any budding mountaineer and equally for trekkers wishing to feature an additional challenge to the most popular Annapurna Base Camp trek.
